This little hand-held ice crusher works, but it is really only good for making a very small amount of crushed ice. I can only get one ice cube in it.

I have not tried this brand yet, but we had one when I was growing up and it was great. I have been looking for one recently and was only finding vintage ones and people wanted a fortune for them. I'm a little surprised at the cost, though. It does still seem a little expensive, but if it lasts as long as the one mom still has, then I guess it would be worth it. I have small hands, but even as a child I was able to use ours without any trouble to crush the large cubes from the metal trays. We will probably be buying one, but need to think about the price a bit more.
