I found the handle not long enough to give me enough leverage to crush the ice, and even if I could crush the ice by persevering, in my opinion,the unit was not strong enough to withstand the forces. I returned it for a bigger unit.

The price is good, but the ice crusher is a little insubstantial and hard to use. The plastic container that the crusher sits on tends to move around when you're turning the handle so you have to have one hand on top of the thing to hold it steady. Also, you have to jam the handle several times during crushing to get it to keep moving. I hope it lasts, but this doesn't make me have a lot of hope for it.

The product arrived okay - but it was cheaper in quality then the one I had. I used it last evening and the product is falling apart and DOES not crush the ice. You can only crush 2 cubes at a time, and the handle is falling off. I do not have my papers anymore - at least I don't think so - but if I could find them the product would be returned. Also, it would have been cheaper to order for Miles Kimball - which I was thinking about ordering from. Next time I will compare prices before I order from you
